CLARENCE JOHN PIONTEK Clarence Piontek of Washougal passed away on June 18, 2011 at the age of 90. He was born on December 11, 1920 in Perhm, MN. They moved to a farm in Washougal in the early 1940's and would later service in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Clarence married Dorothy Negrych in 1951 and worked at Crown Zellerbach for 30 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in loved his church family. He enjoyed duck hunting with his son, Kevin and watching the Mariners. Clarence also coached little league and was on the Washougal Cemetery Board for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven in 2010. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Washougal and son, Kevin of Washougal. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. Interment will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
