Clarice (Miller) Scott, 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Friday, December 30, 2011, at St. Vincent Arkansas Hospice. She was born January 29, 1934, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Marie (Nutt) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Ed Scott, who died in 1979; a brother, Joseph Edward Miller.
Mrs. Scott's family called her "Buddy." She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary's in Little Rock. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, where she was active with Martha's Meals for bereaved families, and also worked in her Garden Angel flower garden. She was a former member of Catholic Business Women; and was a book keeper for Democrat Printing for 40 years.
Survivors are her sisters, Mary Carolyn Borengasser of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Dottie Sweetman and Emily Booth both of Little Rock; Rita Eslick of Hot Springs and a number of nephews and nieces.
Rosary will be 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Christ The King Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, at the Church, with Msgr. Francis I. Malone, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. 501-661-9111.
