Clarisse Sanderson Marble

Clarisse Sanderson Marble, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS following a brief illness. Clarisse was born March 6, 1923, in Pleasant Hill, AL to Elizabeth Victorine Stewart Henry and William Doyle Henry, Sr.
She had lived in the Reservoir area of Brandon for over 37 years and had been an Independent Interior Designer in Jackson for more than 20 years. She was a member of Pinelake Church of Brandon. In 1988 she started working as a Designer in Retail to help her daughter, Gail Turbeville, establish and open Fine Design Sofa Gallery, later to become Norwalk the Furniture Idea in Ridgeland, MS.
Clarisse was an avid pet lover and leaves behind her loyal companion of the last 11 years, her Jack Russell Terrier ,Ginny, who misses her more than words can express.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 41 years, Clarence (Sandy) Sanderson and her husband of 12 years Clayton Marble and daughter in law Betty McGinnis of Brandon. She is survived by her son, Mickey McGinnis of Brandon, MS, grandson Wayne McGinnis of Jackson, MS and granddaughter Kelly Clarisse Cabell, her husband DJ and great granddaughter Emily of Clinton, MS. She is also survived by her son, Dana Sanderson of Seattle, WA. And, also by her daughter Gail Turbeville and her husband Mike, granddaughter Casey Medlin and her husband Brad, great grandson Blake Ainsworth, and great granddaughter's Jordan and Dallas of Brandon, MS. Also, her granddaughter, Molly Berryhill and husband Tony and great granddaughter Gracie and great grandson's Cody and Dillon. Also, grandniece, Hannah Williams of Brandon, MS.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10am at Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Ministries – Ridgeland, MS.
