Someone answered, "You don't move on, you just move forward." Moving on means you leave the past behind, but loved ones move forward with us even after death. My nieces and I are always saying things like, "Grandma would have loved this." "Grandma would not have approved." "Grandma would have ordered peach ice cream and butterscotch syrup." And then one day you suddenly realize how much your loved one remains with you and always will.
