Mr. Clifford D. Bealor, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday December 1, 2010 at La Porte Hospital. He was born May 28, 1926 in Walkerton, Indiana, the son of Joseph Raymond Bealor and Ruth (Peer) Bealor. Clifford worked as a customer service representative for Indiana Michigan Electric Co. for forty-two years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church. Clifford was a US Army Veteran during WWII, and a member of the New Carlisle American Legion Post #297. Clifford loved his garden and being with his grandchildren. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. On December 31, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he married Barbara Shead Bealor who survives. He is also survived by his two sons - Paul (Barbara) Bealor of Phoenix, AZ, Tim (Connie) Bealor of Mendon, IL; one daughter, Joan (Dan) Woodrow of La Porte, IN; eight grandchildren - Kathy Greer, Nathan Bealor, Luke Bealor, Paul Bealor, Chad Mosson, Jennifer Peters, Jackie Jansing, Amanda Woodrow; three great grandchildren, Jack Greer, Michael Greer, Isaac Bealor; one brother, Robert Cuskaden; three sisters - Iona Gring, Sandy Parker, and Sue Kirkwood. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; son, Raymond Bealor and five brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, December 3, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 10:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday December 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dorothy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist of Rolling Prairie 3376 E. US Highway 20 Rolling Prairie, IN 46371.
