Clifford D. Keller, 56, of Castana, Iowa, passed away September 9, 2013 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Rush Family Chapel with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.
Clifford Dean was born July 17, 1957, in Auburn, Nebraska, the son of Marvin and Janice (Vice) Keller. He attended West Monona High School in Onawa. After school, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for various construction companies including for his father with Keller and Carlson Construction, Burt County, Nebraska, Niewohner Construction, and Dave Archer Construction.
Clifford and Lorrie Raymond were united in marriage on December 24, 1978, in Onawa.
He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Clifford is survived by his spouse, Lorrie Keller of Onawa, IA; three children, Rebecca (Shannan) Poole of Turin, IA, Craig (Stephanie Bryan) Keller of Onawa, IA, and Elicia (Bryan) Phillips of Onawa, IA; a foster son, Jeff (Bridget) Jump of Sioux City, IA; ten grandchildren, Latisha, Britney, Seth, MaKenzie, Sierra, Abigail, Alyssa, Corbyn, Jayna, and Jaydon; his mother, Janice Keller of Onawa, IA; two sisters, Trudy Cline of Arlington, TX and Belinda Robertson of Onawa, IA; one brother, Stephen Keller of Onawa, IA; and his mother-in-law, Bernadine Raymond.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Keller, and his father-in-law, Albert Raymond.
