Clifton Hubert “C.H. Steed”, 90, of Hot Springs, died Sunday July 10, 2010. He was born June 15, 1921 in Oma, Arkansas to the late Minor & Lula Gregory Steed. He was a factory worker and restaurant owner for many years and he loved his family and friends and was a full time cowboy all his life.

He is survived by his wife, Melvia Steed; sons, Melvin & wife Wanda Steed and Harold & wife Nell Rita Steed; sister-in-law, Shirley Ellison all of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Ricky & wife Shannon Steed, Kevin Steed, Melissa & husband Tim Denen and Vickie & husband David Horning and several great & great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Gross Funeral Home with Chaplain Ed Losey & Bro. Teddy Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Oma Cemetery with Thaddeus H. Caraway Post 2278 providing full military honors.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Garland County Sheriff Dept. Employees, the Harold Tankersly family and the David West family.
