Clinton McGaha, 75 of Six Mile, passed away on January 12, 2012.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Colonel B. and Sadie Brown McGaha. He was self employed in the plumbing industry and an avid golfer.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Laverne Stancil McGaha; his daughter, Tammy Peters; his son, Tommy (Rita) McGaha; his grandchildren, Nikki Peters Wyatt and her husband, Corey; Josh Peters and Hunter McGaha; one great grandson, Dayton Griffin and his sisters, Janie Gilstrap and Marcell Brooks.

He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 – 10:45am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice, 202 Wall Street, Piedmont, SC, 29673; or to Cancer Center of the Carolinas, 131 Lila Doyle Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
