Colleen Hake Boyd , 87, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. Born in Wellsville, OH, Colleen enjoyed working in a variety of capacities, especially her years in Hoagland at Hake's Grocery. Surviving are her husband, William A. Boyd Jr. of Hamilton, sons, Dennis (Marie Kay) Hake of Romulus, MI, and Thomas (Karen) Hake of Granger, daughters, Susan Clark of Fort Wayne, Marta (Mark) Schenkel of Syracuse, and Barbara (Henry) Crawford of New Salisbury, step-daughters, Kim (Ed) Spear of Reston, VA, and Linda (Rob) Mullins of Round Hill, VA, grandchildren, Michael Clark of Fort Wayne, Alexandra Hake of West Lafayette, and Sydney Hake of Granger, 10 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren. Colleen was preceded in death by her first husband, Norbert Hake, son, Michael Hake, brother, Jack Simison and sister, June Bryan. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, with Fr. James Shafer officiating, calling 2 hours prior to Mass at the church. Calling also 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Cemetery.
