Collin Shaughnessy, infant son, of Dennis Shaughnessy and Kelsie (Taylor) Shaughnessy, passed away, Tuesday August 24, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. He was born August 23, 2010 in LaPorte, Indiana. Collin was only here for a short period of time, he left a lasting impression in our hearts and thoughts. He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Kelsie Shaughnessy of LaPorte, IN; one sister - McKinzie Shaughnessy of La Porte, IN; grandparents - Rich and Denise Taylor of Mill Creek, IN; grandfather - Dennis J. Shaughnessy, Sr. of Chicago, IL; two great-grandparents - Dan and Irene Mowrey of Lebanon, KY, Bob and Sandra Taylor of LaPorte, IN; great-grandmother - Alice Zoladz of Chicago, IL; and many other loved ones. Collin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Latimer, brother, Conlin Shaughnessy. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Father Ian Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
