CAVE, CONSTANCE ANN (Hatges) Speronis, died in Tampa, Florida on the 13th of October 2012. She was born in Mason City, Iowa on the 25th of July 1926. She graduated from Mason City High School, then from Northwestern University with a major in voice. For a number of years she directed the choir of St. John's Greek Orthodox Church in Tampa. She was also active in what was known as the Tampa Lyric Theater & played leading roles as Anna in the King and I, and as Marian the Librarian in Music Man. She was a very active member of the Tampa Woman's Club, serving as president from 1986-1988 & also as Parlia-mentarian. She was a member of The Friday Morning Musicale, S.E Federation of Greek Orthodox Choirs (Past President) & a Red Cross volunteer. She was predeceased by her first husband, Stephen Speronis, PhD., to whom she was married for 39 years. She married The Rev. George H. Cave, Jr. in April 2005. She is survived by her husband; her sister: Mrs. Maria Howey (John) of Tampa; nieces and nephews : John, Dorothy, Lee, Andrew & Jamie. A memorial service will at St. John's Episcopal Church at 902 S. Orleans Ave. in Tampa on Mon, October 22, 2012 at 1PM.For up to date service information and to sign the guest book, visit us at brewerfuneral.com.
