"Coni" Constance Joy (Church) Hadden passed away October 24, 2011, at home surrounded by her family and the Lord's love. Coni, born March 27, 1941, in Auburn, New York, was the daughter of Harold and Mary Church, and spouse of Gordon Hadden. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Public Administration. Surviving family members are: spouse Gordon Hadden; daughter Michelle Butler, son-in-law Tony Butler, and four grandchildren: Chase, Alanis, Anthony and Alijah of Liberty, Missouri; son Davis Hadden, daughter-in–law Susie Hadden, and three grandchildren: Joann, Christy and Juliana and great granddaughter Alexia of Denton, Texas. Daughter Dana, her parents and two sisters have already made their heavenly journey. An important part of her life was her PEO sisters. In addition to her love and nurturing of the immediate and extended family of nieces and nephews, Coni was a Liberty community servant. Community services included: founding member of Latch Key Program, PTA services at a local and state level, Clay County Museum and Historical Society, Tree Liberty, Historic Downtown Liberty Incorporated and Cemetery Commission. She served on the City of Liberty Planning and Zoning Commission for six years and the City Council for sixteen years. During that time, she also represented Liberty at Mid America Regional Council (MARC), Missouri Municipal League as past president and Small Cities Steering Committee for the National League of Cities.
