Cordelia "Millie" Sherlock, age 75 of North Canton passed away Thursday morning, July 05, 2012, following a courageous battle with Parkinson disease. Millie was born in Frankfort, Kentucky, on June 9th, 1937, to the late William G. and Lillian (Ritchie) Moore. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Hamilton, Ohio, class of 1955. Besides being a loving wife, Millie was a wonderful mother, and grandmother, she devoted much of her time to her children and grandchildren attending band recitals and school functions. Millie would always be present and cheer them on. She was also actively involved in the local Cub Scout and Girl Scout and was a scout leader for many years. Millie spent 15 years as the administrative assistant for the Special Educations Department in the North Canton City Schools District. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Moore. Millie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert G. Sherlock Sr. of the home; four beloved children, Robert G. Jr. (Kimberly) Sherlock of Cincinnati, OH, Donald (Sharon) Sherlock of Springfield, OH, Kelly (Jim) Forrest of Fairhope, AL, and Christopher (Amy) Sherlock of Cincinnati, OH; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; a nephew and a niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church of North Canton (241 South Main St., N. Canton, OH, 44720) with Rev. Fr. Stephen Zeigler as Celebrant. Calling hours will be on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. NE, North Canton, Ohio, 44720. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018
