Corine Ruth Glenn, age 83, of Little Rock, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 25, 2011.
She was born to the late Harvey and Cloie Perry on February 25, 1928 in England, Arkansas. Corine is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Glenn and her husband Steve Tatham, residents of Renton, Washington. She is also survived by sisters, Geneva Brantley and Norma Sebourn of England; and Kathryn Zoch of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her son, L. Keith Glenn, M.D.
Corine retired after 28 years of service at the University of Arkansas Medical Center. She was a valued employee of the Accounts Payable department. Corine was an accomplished gardener and loved getting her hands in the dirt. Her favorites were irises and roses.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, at Calvary Baptist Church, 5700 Cantrell Road in Little Rock. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. at Tomberline Cemetery in Coy, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church Benevolence Fund. The family extends their appreciation to staff of At-Home Care of Arkansas and Arkansas Hospice for their outstanding care of Corine during her illness.
