Courtney Terrell Smith was born June 23, 1977 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Gloria Smith and James Burns. Early Saturday Morning, November 19, 2011 Courtney Terrell Smith, at Christian Northeast Hospital, was called on an everlasting journey that he peacefully embraced. He attended Saint Louis Public School District. Terrell Smith confessed in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Tower Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Smith was more than a father, son, nephew, cousin, friend and a fluent speaker. Courtney's consideration for other people was optimum. His appreciation beyond words, strong, compassionate and flexible. Courtney Terrell Smith's memories will be cherished and reflected by: his mother, Gloria Smith; father, James Burns; children, Corneisha and Zariyah Smith; grandmother, Louise Burns; aunts, Emma (aunt D) Nannie Smith, Lacinda Burns and Eva Jones; uncles, William Smith, Santon Smith, David Jr. and Charles (Jackie) Burns; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins (Antonia Big Brother) and friends.
