KUHTA – Daisy (nee Moesle), 83, of Clifton, died on Feb. 4, 2009. Born in Passaic, Mrs. Kuhta lived in Clifton for most of her adult life. She was a former employee of Hughes and Bogart Associates in Passaic. As a former parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Passaic, she was married there and is now a long-time parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. Mrs. Kuhta was a devoted and loving mother and wife. She was a lover of music and was a voracious reader.
Mrs. Kuhta was predeceased by her son, Robert Kuhta; her brother, Edward Moesle; and her son-in-law, William Swinson.
Survivors include: her husband, Steven Kuhta; her daughter, Mary Swinson of Clifton; three sons, Thomas Kuhta of Clifton, John Kuhta and his wife Olga of Sloatsburg, NY and James Kuhta and his wife, Lark of West Milford; her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Kuhta; her sister, Elizabeth Kilburg of Edison; and five grandchildren, David, Christopher and Fleur Kuhta and Andrea and Steven Swinson.
Funeral services will be Monday 9:30 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting will be Saturday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm and Sunday from 1 – 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601.
