Plush, Dale E. "Jack", 83, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011. He was born February 1, 1928 to Motie and Gladys (Bennett) Plush in Pennalosa, KS. He graduated from Kingman High School in 1946 and Kansas State University in 1952. Dale served in the Army as a second lieutenant during WWII and Korea. He was a life member of the Midian Shrine and an enthusiastic supporter of Shocker Baseball and K-State football. He was employed as a defense contracting agent with the U.S. government. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Anderson) Plush; brother, Charles Plush; and sister, Virginia Price. Dale is survived by his children, Kathleen Lawless, Rebecca Plush, and Ronald (Lori) Plush; 5 grandchildren, Aaron Lawless, Kaitlin Lawless, Ryan Lawless, Darrell Plush, Geron Plush; sister Mary (Plush) Jensen of Grass Valley, CA and brother Larry (Betty) Plush of Nevada, MO. Service 10 am, Tuesday at Lakeview Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice and the Midian Shrine.
