Dale was born on October 16, 1959. He lived all his life on the farm at Loon Lake where he farmed and cattle ranched. Dale worked on the oil rigs for 28 years and advanced his career to being a driller. He married Gwen in 1980 and they have four daughters. Dale enjoyed spending time with and teasing his family. He was always happy to visit and share a cup of coffee with friends, family and neighbours. He was an animal lover, his cows and dogs being among his favourites. Dale enjoyed the outdoors, ski-dooing, quadding, fishing and was particularly fond of recycling. Dale was predeceased by: his mother, Bertha Barnes; his stepfather, Bernard Barnes; and his sister, Donna Lindstrom. Dale is survived by: his wife, Gwen; his daughters, Cassaundra Lindstrom, Jolene (Ryan) Thiessen, Stephanie Lindstrom and Tamara Lindstrom; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
