Daniel B. Chapla LtCol USMC (Ret.) On Monday, January 23, 2012 of Alexandria, VA. Beloved husband of Barbara D. Chapla; father of Peter D. Chapla, David C. Chapla and Mary C. Mikulski; brother of Carol Boyle, Paul Chapla, Patricia Chapla and the late Marianne Chapla; also survived by three grandsons and five granddaughters. Relatives and friends may call at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mt. Vernon Hwy. Alexandria, VA 22309 on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church Emergency Fund.
