Daniel Edward Medina - Oxnard
Daniel Edward Medina "Cheeseburger" passed away unexpectedly July 30, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 49.
Danny was born in Oxnard to Eusebio and Adelaida Medina on March 10, 1962. He attended local schools and had recently attended Oxnard College with concentration in substance abuse counseling. Danny was a large man with a big heart, was kind, loyal and loved to make you laugh with his sense of humor. He won many hearts and will never be forgotten. Those who truly knew him appreciated his great compassion for others. He loved hanging out with friends, listening to oldies and old school and lived his life with the simplest pleasures. Although he had no children, he considered many his own.
Danny is survived by his parents, brother David Medina and Larry Potts, sister Eva Reyes, sister-in-law Graciela Ybarra, goddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and fiancé Della Antimo. Danny was preceded in death by his brother Alfredo Ybarra.
Please join us as we say goodbye to our son, brother and friend. An evening Vigil/Rosary will be held at Santa Clara Mortuary, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard 93036 on Tuesday, August 16 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 17 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be sent to the Medina family at www.santaclaramortuary.com Santa Clara Mortuary 805-485-5757
