Daniel F. Murphy, Of Cambridge passed away on October 9, 2009 at the Sancta Maria Nursing Facility in Cambridge.

Born in Cambridge on September 19, 1933, he was the beloved son of the late James J. & Margaret (Sullivan) Murphy. Loving brother of John J. Murphy of Boston, Timothy P. Murphy of Enfield, CT, Margaret Finnerty of Belmont, and the late Rev. James Murphy O.P. , Catherine L. Murphy and William M. Murphy.

Visitation will be held in the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St (Route 16) Watertown on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 9:00-10:00 AM. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Watertown on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will take place in Cambridge Cemetery.

Mr. Murphy was a retired Senior Stock Clerk at M.I.T.
