Daniel Strong Clark, 34, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Dannielle (Katie) Clark; one daughter, Mackenzi Cameron Clark; his mother, Linda Strong Clark of Virginia Beach, VA; his father, Martin Clark of Ft. Collins, CO; one sister, Kelly Clark Nordby of Cary, NC; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; and many other close family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Martin Clark, II. After graduating from Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach in 1994, he continued his education at Randolph Macon College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 1998. At the time of his death, he was employed with Verizon Wireless and was in pursuit of his Masters, studying at Strayer University. His glowing energy and contagious vitality will be missed. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the trust of Mackenzi Cameron Clark at any Bank of the Commonwealth locations or calling (757) 446-6914.
