Danny "Joe" Lee, 60, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, after a long battle with cancer
An Indianapolis native Joe was born to Robert Sr. and Betty Craig Lee on April 12, 1953. He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School Class of 1971. Later in life, to support his golf game he worked at Dick's Sporting Goods in the Golf Department. He was a sports enthusiast, who deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Joe loved being around his friends and family and treated everyone as if they were his best friend. Nothing made him happier than playing with his grandchildren and making them laugh. Joe touched a lot of lives and had countless friends.
Survivors include his mother: Betty Lee of Franklin; son and daughter-in-law: Mickey and Melissa Lee of Greenwood; siblings and their spouses: Kay and Jim Brown of Avon, Nancy and Kevin Mulvey of Kingston Spring, Tennessee; Janet Lee of Franklin, Randy Lee of Greenwood, Terri Hurley of Bargersville; grandchildren: Maggie Lee, Mason Lee, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his father and brother: Robert "Bobby" Lee Jr.
Visitation will be Monday, May 6 from 5 - 8 P.M. at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Southport Chapel, 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
