Mr. Danny Mark Brown, age 65, of McDonough, GA passed away January 14, 2012. Dan was born in Bessemer, AL the son of the late James Tazwell Brown and Mary Elizabeth Mason Brown. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Brown; a sister, Judy Pierson; and a grandchild, Mary Elizabeth Brown. He was self employed and owned his own business, Dan Brown Trucking. Dan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sports, Crimson Tide, Braves, fishing, and reading western novels. He was known in all of the waffle houses for his loyalty. Survivors are his sons, Jimi Brown (Stephanie) of McDonough, Dan Brown (Mona) of Tampa, and Matt Brown (Nikki) of McDonough; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Richard Brown of Tampa, Steve Brown of Jacksonville, Cathy Brown of Tampa, Kenny Brown of Tampa and Vicky Brown of Tampa; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Dan Brown will be Friday, January 20, 2012 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 – 4:00 PM.
