Nowak, Darleen C. "Sue" (nee Minessale) Apr. 10, 2012 age 72 yrs. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo. Loving and devoted mother of Anita (Toni) Quam and Christine Grilli. Grandmother of Jessica, Sandra and Stephanie, survived by eight great-grandchildren. Fond sister of Joe "Butch" (Lisa) Minessale, Howard (Colleen) Zanzig and Doreen (Jim) Schroeder. Special sister-in-law of Natalie (Louis) Horch, John (Mary) Nowak, Shirley (Mike) Hornak, Jim (Linda) Nowak, Cheri (Rick) Gorzalski, Terry (Cheryl) Nowak, Mike (Karen) Nowak, Cece Nowak, Steven (Mary) Nowak and Peter Nowak. Also survived by Aunt Marcella, Aunt Frieda (Russ) and Uncle Joe. Special life long friend of Joanne Heaney, Dolores Wood, Leo and Karen Gilpin and cousin Michael Martyka. Aunt Sue will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Retired from Vesta Inc. and Electric Wire. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home Monday April 16th from 4-6:30PM with memorial service to follow at 6:30PM. Special thanks to Drs. Mazzulla, Triesman and Arshad and the staff at St. Francis Hospital for all their care. Sue will always be remembered for her fantastic German Potato Salad and her many home-cooked recipes which she enjoyed sharing. Father, your little one is on her way.
