Daryl Faneuf, 62, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday, December 23, 2011 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Gordon Barry officiating. Entombment will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Daryl was born September 7, 1949 in Richmond, IN to Euclid & Margaret (Showen) Faneuf. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1967 and then from Ferris State College in 1972 with a bachelor's degree. After college she worked as manager of Capozio's Pizza. Then in 1981 she began her career for All-Phase Electric Supply Company for over 25 years. She also worked for United Electric and Kendall Electric in Holland. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, watching TV and keeping her sisters cats Scutter, Hershey, and Snickers in-line.

Daryl is survived by her sisters Gail Faneuf of Benton Harbor and Mary Beth Diamond of Gainesville, FL; niece Elizabeth "Lizzie" Diamond of New Orleans, LA; nephew Hunter Diamond of Gainesville, FL; Uncle Don Showen of Nitro, West Virginia; special friend Celiarose (Pollyea) Varner of Lansing, MI; and many cousins. Daryl was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents AJ and Tillie Showen and Arthur and Mayme Faneuf, and niece Amy Jordan Diamond.
