ROEBUCK, David A. - of Millington, age 50, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 5 PM Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Heartland Hospice Chaplain Darlene Kuenzli officiating. Friends may call from 1 PM Sunday until time of services. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.

David was born April 10, 1960 to the late Kenneth and Evelyn Mae (Burke) Roebuck. He was raised in Birch Run and was a resident of the Millington area the past 15 years. He had been employed at Parkers Propane, Apex Sign Co. and several other businesses over the years.

Surviving are: former wife and lifelong friend, Sheri Roebuck; 3 children, Starr Callahan of Millington. Tera Roebuck (Paul Rogers) of Millington, Jason (Shalane) Fraley of Vassar; 4 grandchildren, Keith, Brendyn, Katelynn and Andrew; 4 brothers, Rick (Peggie) Roebuck of Birch Run, Mike (Loretta) Roebuck of CA, Dennis (Lynn) Roebuck of Burt, Bill (Sandy) Roebuck of Flint; 5 sisters, Bonnie "Jeannie" Smith of Birch Run, Vera (Al) Harback of Grand Haven, Marilyn (Bob) Betts of Millington, Ruth (Jon) Overway of Nunica, Karen (Paul) Petzold of Millington; many nieces and nephews; very special friend, Paul Matzke; best friend, Fang. He was also preceded in death by: infant son, Christopher Brady; brother, Randy Roebuck; baby sister, Yvonne; niece, Tonya Roebuck; great niece, Kassandra Klein; brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice, Sally, Darlene, Janice and Karen, and to family and friends who offered support during this time.
