David Biagi – age 89 years of Hawthorne on Monday February 20, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Dolores A. (nee Grandi) Biagi – 1980, loving father of Carol Roberts and her husband Paul of Glen Rock and Roy C. Biagi and his wife Jayne of Rockaway, dear grandfather of four and dearest great grandfather of three. Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Biagi lived in Hawthorne since 1955. David was a textile dyer for NuDye Company and Regis Company, both in Paterson, until his retirement. Mr. Biagi was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corps and was a member of the VFW, Hawthorne. Mr. Biagi was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, Hawthorne. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM on Friday at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will be at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday between 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 370 7th Avenue, Suite 1802, New York, New York 10001.
