David Cole Zimmerman, 25, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Ft. Wayne, he graduated from So. Side High School and attended college in London. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Carriage House both in Ft. Wayne. "David was a loyal and compassionate son, brother and friend who always saw the best in everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him." Surviving are his Parents, Gary & Martha (Dahm) Zimmerman of Fort Wayne, sisters, Angela (Tony) Zizak of Bedford, Jill (Thomas) Roth of Westerville, OH and Nicole Zimmerman of Charlotte, NC, grandmothers, Arbutus Zimmerman and Ruth (Tom) Colvin-Offerle both of Ft. Wayne, several aunts & uncles. David was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 AM Thurs. December 23, 2010 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd with Rev. David Rupert officiating. Calling at - D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Thursday 1 hr. prior to the Mass at the church.
