CROMARTIE-MILLER & LEE FUNERALS AND CREMATIONS

Dunn, NC

Mr. David Earl Wise, age 85 of Wrench Road, Dunn, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

Mr. Wise was born May 31, 1926 in Sampson County to the late Elliott & Stella Tew Wise. Mr. Wise was the former owner and operator of Wise Dairy for fifteen years and was the co-owner of J & W Swine. He was a 1945 graduate of Mingo School. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Wise was a member and a Deacon of the Shady Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church at Spivey's Corner. He was a member of the Four Clefs Quartet. Mr. Wise was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Doyle Wise, two half brothers, Clyde Ennis and Edward Wise.

A special Singspiration Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 6:00PM at the Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Chapel with Revs. Stephen Prescott and Jim Skinner officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 1:00PM at Devotional Gardens.

Wife: Wilma Jean Lee Wise of the home.

Sister: Annie Johnson of Sanford, NC

Sisters-In-Law & Spouse: Lynn Lee of Raleigh, NC
Sheila L. & Jeff Oglesby of Dunn, NC

Several Nieces & Nephews

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, November 20, 2011 prior to the Singspiration service at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Chapel in Dunn. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive College, 634 Henderson St., Mt. Olive, NC 28365.
