David H. Gutierrez, age 92, of Whittier, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2011, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Los Nietos, California, to Emilio and Felicia Gutierrez. He attended and graduated from the local school. He met and married the love of his life, Mary Louise Ponce on July 6, 1940.
He was a hard working well respected employee of Pacific Clay Products for over 40 years. David and Mary were members of the St. Gregory Senior Club. He enjoyed handicapping horse races and loved to play the lotto; he had the ability to make and /or repair almost anything. He has left his handiwork in all of our homes; but the joy of his life was his family, and he absolutely adored his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
