Army Emblem

David Paul Diamond, age 59 passed away on February 24, 2011. He was born May 14,
1951 to Paul L. and Emmajean (Wilson) Diamond in Payson, Utah.

He graduated from Payson High School in 1969. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, from 1971 to 1973.

He met the love of his life Kerry McClellan and they were married on July 18, 1978 in
Las Vegas, NV. They spent 32 years together and raised 2 daughters.

He worked at the mines in Eureka, the Toole Army Depot and U.S. Post Office at East
Bay.

He enjoyed being outdoors; he loved to camp and hunt, and spend time with his
granddaughter. We all enjoyed his flower garden, because his wife couldn't keep
anything alive. We will miss his quick wit and all of his practical jokes that he loved to
play on everyone. He will sorely be missed by all who knew him.

He was a well respected and incredibly loved man. He left us too soon, to soar in the
wings of heaven.

He is survived by: his wife, Kerry of Payson; daughters, Patrice Currah of Tacoma,,
Washington: Sarah (Brandon) Hawkins of Payson; his parents and, his
brother Dennis Diamond of Payson his in-laws, Tobe & Sandy McClellan of Fillmore; 3 grandchildren and, 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Diamond Banks, and his grandparents.

Viewing will be Wednesday March 2, 2011 at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson friends may call from 11: 00 am to 12:45pm. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm at Payson Cemetery with military rites acccorded by the American Legion, Dist. #4.
