David Vincent Heise, 62, of Annapolis for several years and previously of Westminster, died November 24 of an embolism at home.
He was born June 27, 1949 in Annapolis, and attended Annapolis High School. He was a tour salesman with Historic Annapolis, Paca Home & Garden; previously youth counselor at River Valley Ranch; Maryland bookseller, Trustworthy Bookstore. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Annapolis. David had a deep love of nature, history (especially Maryland history), genealogy, digital photography of remarkable natural phenomena, and offering Christian guidance to youth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Edward Heise Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Majorie Lois Cox Heise of Annapolis; and two brothers, Paul Brian Heise of Annapolis and Stephen James Heise of Las Vegas, NV.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, November 30 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis.
