Dateline-Derry, NH David W. Bennett, 50, died March 8, 2012 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH. Born August 6, 1961 in New Orleans, LA., he was the son of Leon and Susan (Paul) Bennett. David grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. His family moved to Beverly, MA. when he was fifteen. He graduated from Beverly High School and later received an Associate degree in electronics from Sylvania Technical School of Electronics. David worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Methuen, MA for nearly twenty years. He resided in Epping, NH from 1987-2006 and had lived in Derry, NH for the past 6 years. David was always very mechanical and enjoyed fixing things for his family. He also enjoyed music, nature, boating and RC helicopters. He was very proud of the Mustang that he and his son Kerc built. David was an introvert with a dry yet gentle sense of humor. He is survived by his four children, Mark Kenworthy, Kerc Bennett, Delaine Bennett and Danielle Bennett, his parents, Leon and Susan Bennett, his sister, Donna Wood, his former wife and friend, Michele Bennett, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and his dog Peyton. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 5:00 PM at the Epping Community Church, Epping, NH.
