David Wayne Walls of Sallisaw was born December 19, 1940, in Octavia, Oklahoma to David Sylvester and Nancy Jane (Baxter) Walls and passed away March 6, 2009, in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 68.

David was an accomplished blue grass musician and beloved teacher of the guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and dulcimer. He was also a member of the Eagles Club where he had many friends and enjoyed ball room dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Peggy Sue McGough of Hayworth, Oklahoma and one brother, James Kirkpatrick of Hayworth, Oklahoma also several nieces and nephews.
