David was a member of the Parkside Baptist Church in Mesquite, Tx. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and his favorite past time was playing golf. He enjoyed and loved spending time with his grandchildren and attended their games as much as he could. David is preceded in death by his father, Charles Weempe; brother, Bobby Weempe and by his sister, Patricia Gomez. He is survived by his loving mother, Naomi Guerrero; son, David Wayne Weempe, Jr. and his girlfriend, Joanne: daughter, Christina Pineda and husband, Jose; brother, Michael Ray Merimon and wife, Nancy; sister, Brenda Guevara and husband, Steve; step sisters and brothers: Delores Guerrero, Rose Hobbs, Dora Torres, Joey Guerrero and Manuel Guerrero, Jr.: five grandchildren: Brianna, Isabelle, D.J., A.J. and Jacob and a host of nieces and nephews. Bro. Barkley from Parkside Baptist Church will be officiating the service.
