Davy Freeman, age 31, of Atkins, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at Saint Mary¡¯s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born December 16, 1974 in Broken Bow, Nebraska, was a construction worker, a United States Army veteran and a Baptist. Survivors include his fiancâÁ Sharon Garrett of Atkins; his parents, David and Diana Freeman of Atkins; two sisters and brothers-in-law: April and Carl Gray of Hector; and Crystal and Tommy Reed of Pottsville; his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Payne of Atkins; and three nephews and two nieces: Kaitlyn, Ashley and Kristopher Gray, all of Hector; and Trenton and Jacob Reed, both of Pottsville.
The family will receive friends at Shinn Funeral Service on Monday evening from 6 to 7 P.M. A graveside memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
