Deannie Marie Freeman, Born May 25, 1932 of Hot Springs Village, departed her mortal life and entered into the kingdom of heaven on May 30, 2012 to forever reside with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On this day her beautiful spirit has been restored to its full splendor and glory, and she has been reunited with her mother and father, Jewel and Roy Berry and sister Louise, to reunion forever with all of her loved ones who come before her, to pave her path with good directions to follow.

Deannie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dick Freeman and by her 3 children, Darlene Johnson Yosten, Michael (Nila) Johnson, Andrew Lincks, and by 8 grandchildren, Kyle Rigsby, Richie Yosten, Jennifer, Britini, Finessa, and Wade Johnson, Cameron and Lili Lincks, and by her sister Linda (Ronnie) Keeling, and her sister-in-law, Wanda Miller, 13 great-grandchildren, 16 nephews, 7 nieces and 1 adopted grandson, Wacy Johnson.

Deannie met her husband, Dick in 1979 and on February 14, 1981 they said their vows of love and devotion to each other before God and family. In March 1981 they moved from their residence in Winnsboro, Texas to Hot Springs Village and began their journey through life together. From 1981-85, Deannie was employed as a nursing home administrator with Garland Convalescent Center in Hot Springs. In 1986, Deannie was employed by Cooper Communities Inc. as project director of Los Lagos Timeshares in Hot Springs Village. After serving for 14 years in this capacity, she took her retirement in early 2000.

Deannie took her place in God's heart at an early age in life and did her best to live her life as a good example of God's love for her. Of all the challenges of life, she faced them with a smile on her face and happy in her heart, and content in her convictions to faith in God and faith in her family. She was devoted and loyal to her parents and sisters and her husband and most of all to her children. She felt privileged and blessed to be her children's mother and she considered them to be her greatest God given achievement in life. She always honored her family and her children and her husband with her unconditional love and abounding trust in their goodness.

Though the reasons for her seasons have passed and she no longer walks beside us, the radiance of her beauty and the sparkle of her spirit will forever warm our hearts and forever live in our memory, so on this occasion of both heart felt longing and loss, we gather together on this day to celebrate Deannie's life and to rejoice in the glow of her eternal light.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday, June 3, 2012 at CedarVale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Monday, June 4, at CedarVale Funeral Home, with Interment following at CedarVale Cemetery.
