Debbie Gray Clevenger, 58, of Lubbock, went to be with the lord, Sunday, October 3rd. 2010.

She was born on June 9th, 1952 in Houston, Texas. Debbie spent the majority of her life in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1970.

She had numerous hobbies and passions in life, but her biggest passion was love for others and taking care of family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, riding Harleys, and traveling to the mountains.

She will be best remembered as a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, and friend. Debbie is survived by her husband James Clevenger of Lubbock and son Kevin Gray and wife Krystal of Farmington, NM. She is also survived by her mother Elsie Severson of Lubbock, four brothers, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Kelly Gray who passed away in 2009.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff and volunteers of VistaCare Hospice for their support and care.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Tim Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at Sanders Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
