WHITWORTH, Debbie N., 50 "25", of Glen Allen, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at her home. She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Noble; and her sister, Dianne Trammell. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, William Whitworth; a son, Chris Whitworth; and a daughter, Amanda Cook and her husband, Philip; two grandchildren, Cara Whitworth and Jackson Cook; her mother, Helen N. Strevig; two brothers, David Noble and Darren Noble; her uncle, James Spencer; and aunt, Betty Spencer; grandfather, Howell Newton; and countless friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mom and nannie. One of the most caring and giving people this world has ever known and she loved her family more than anything. The family will receive friends Friday (today) from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. A funeral service will be held at Mount Vernon Baptist Church on Saturday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Rd., Glen Allen, 23059.
