Deb was a friend from high school and was so good to see her again at a recent class reunion. She lived a remarkable life of giving and serving. I will remember her fondly until we reunite in heaven.

Deborah had such a strong passion to serve the Lord. I worked with her as mentors for A Peaceful Habitation - a ministry to women that are recently released from jail and are working to build a new life with Christ at the center. Deborah really cared about the women and showed them skills and techniques to enter the workforce and take care of themselves. I appreciate her selfless dedication to helping others. She will be missed.

Our 'party' (the Villisca High School Class of 1970) and my personal 'party', wouldn't have been complete without Debbie. And now she has made the final journey. I'm sure she was not afraid, and that God was with her. I'm also certain that she is now whole, complete, full of God's love, and basking in the glory of Heaven.

Debbie was a childhood friend and high school friend. I remember Debbie to be so kind. I loved her smile and I always knew she was someone you could count on. I reconnected with her on Facebook and followed her ministry on line. I was amazed but not surprised at her work. I am sad that she was not with us longer......I am sure she will be missed by the many lives she has touched. Even me, that knew her so many years ago. God's Kingdom just gained another beautiful soul. My sympathies to her family....

She was organized, professional and caring and I was, well, none of those. She was all about the individual and I was all about the business. She was organized, professional and caring and I was, well, none of those. She was all about the individual and I was all about the business. Most of what I learned about working with clients I learned from her. We were a good team. I was George Patton and she was Mother Theresa. And our clients were better off because of it. When you share the same foxhole for three years you really get to know someone. I liked her and, more importantly, I respected her. We didn't always agree, but we enjoyed disagreeing. She was fun to disagree with. I liked her because she was honest and didn't have a problem telling you what she thought. She parted my hair so often in the early days that I quit bringing a comb to work. And I learned something from each 'discussion'. I am a better person because of her. The poet Thomas Campbell wrote “to live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” Pretty much says it all for me.

I remember and honor Deborah's commitment to women finding their fulfillment in their work and life. She helped so many of us to renew our purpose and reflect on our lives with a spiritual lens Thanks to Deborah for showing us the way...

Dr. Deb had a profound impact on my life, and I have been truely blessed that our paths crossed. She has now heard those words we all want to hear when we first see our Lord...."Well done good and faithful servant;...enter into the joy of your master." Dr. Deb, is now home for eternity.
