Delbert was born on May 14, 1917 and passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012.
Delbert was a resident of Louisville, Kentucky at the time of his passing.
Smitty had been a U. S. Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and World War II.
He is survived by his wife Ruby.
His Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and after 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
