DELLA AIREY

Della Airey, 60, of Egeria Road, passed away December 17, 2011.
Born in Beckley on April 3, 1951 to Theodore Ferroro and Laura Frances Ferroro.
She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1969; worked for the Pagoda for 8 years and Heartland for 26 years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved son, Lewis Airey III, whom she loved dearly; husband, Lewis Airey; sisters, Loretta Burress and Veda Gravley, who loved her with all of their hearts; her mother and father –in-law, Al and Sue Strassburger; a special aunt, Madora Marchal from Naples, FL and her son, Franklin Lockhart of Ohio ; nephews, William Harvey, Jr., of KY, Teddy Stover, Scotty Stover, and Anthony Stover; one niece, Melissa Williams all of Beckley; step-brother, Duke Wadell and wife, Diane; step-sister, Barbara Waddell; step-brother-in-law, Rick Fortner and many cousins who will miss her, sister-in-law Amy Barton and her husband Michael and their children, Michael, Bethany and Sarah, of CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Ferroro and Laura Frances Ferroro Waddell, step-father, Carl Waddell; step-brother, Carl Waddell, Jr.; step-sister, Linda Fortner; uncles, Albert Lockhart, James Lockhart, Wallace Lockhart, Maynard Lockhart, and Donald Lockhart; aunts, Viva Bennett and Beulah Ramsey.
Services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, December 21, 2011 with Pastor Clyburn officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00Pm until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
