Della Lee Barton, 78, of Little Neck Cove, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011. She was a Keystone member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, member of the Candlelighters Association of CHKD, and a founding member of Sand Dollar Circle of CHKD. She was a professional real estate agent for 25 years and a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable with William E. Wood and Rose and Womble. Della was the widow of Sam Houston, Jr., and is survived by two daughters, Brenda B. Hostettler and Margaret Barton Gray and husband Kenneth; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Sara Keenley Houston. She was preceded in death by her first husband, LCDR Kenneth Dale Barton and their children, Diana Lee Tyson, Missy Barton and Kenneth Dale Barton, Jr. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Memorial services are pending, please call the funeral home for details at 463-0150. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
