Delora B. Drena was rejoined with her beloved husband Michael Drena on December 12, 2008. She was born in Eastport, ME on September 9, 1921 to the late Charles E. & Mabel R. (Oliver) Lank. Delora and Michael were married in Florida on February 26, 1944. She began her long wait to be reunited with Michael when he was reported missing in action on February 13, 1945 in a bombing mission over Austria. Upon his release as a POW, they settled in Hartford and then moved to an assisted living facility in Groton, CT to be near her care givers, Bill and Mary Drena on North Stonington. Besides her nephew and his wife, she leaves several nieces and nephews in CT, FL, and PA. She will be missed by all especially her grand niece Molly Lebovitz who brought her joy and happiness in her final years. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Carmon Funeral Home in Windsor.
