Delores J. Jones, age 83 of Moline, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Trinity, Rock Island.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to Salem Lutheran Church.

Delores was born on June 9, 1928 the daughter of Roland and Bernice Zimmerman.
She worked for 32 years as a secretary for Eagles Food Warehouse in Milan, IL. Delores was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Moline where she helped with cookie walks and other church events. She was also a volunteer for Mississippi Valley Blood Center. Delores enjoyed spending her time as a seamstress and knitting. She especially loved her dogs, Barney & Clyde, that she rescued from the Humane Society.
