Delphine Florence Kettler,
84, passed away on April 20, 2009 in Kirkland, Washington. She was born on November 7, 1925 in Grenville, South Dakota.
Delphine married Eugene (Gene) Kettler in 1950. They were together for 38 years until Gene's passing in 1988. Delphine has lived in the Seattle area for 40 years and was very active at St. John Vianney Church in Kirkland; she also enjoyed a good game of cards and traveling.
She is survived by her six children, Chuck, Maxine, Phyllis, Dee, Gene and Wayne. Delphine had 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Delphine is also survived by her brother Larry, and sisters Adelaide, Lucille, Priscilla, and Marcella. She was proceeded in death by her granddaughter Jessica and brother Leon.
Delphine was kind and generous soul who will be greatly missed by her family & friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Washelli at Bothell Funeral Home, 18224 103rd Ave NE, Bothell. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 24th at 11:00 AM at St John Vianney Catholic Church, 12600 84th Ave NE, Kirkland WA. Private Graveside service will be held for family at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way.
