I am really sorry for your loss. I didn't know Dexter well, but we met through a mutual friend around 2003-2004. I was horribly uncoordinated, but Dexter was so sweet and patient and could make me laugh even when I fell over and felt like an idiot. He was constantly cracking me up, and I really enjoyed spending time with him. Eventually I felt confident enough to try and knock him off his skates, but ended up wiping out and taking him with me. At first I felt so bad, but when I saw the look of concern on his face for me, and no sign of annoyance or concern for himself, I knew he was a truly gentle and kind person. We laughed about it and continued on. I left the area for college shortly and we lost touch, but I always think of him when I drive through Corporate Woods or see a rollerblader. My deepest sympathies are with all of his family and friends.

You all have my deepest sympathy. I worked with Dexter at KID and truly enjoyed his happy disposition and kindness. He was always a joy to be around. He was so gifted and truly a brilliant person. I have lost 3 close relatives to depression. It is a terrible disease. Please find comfort in knowing that Dexter is no longer hurting. I will keep you all in my prayers. He was so easy to be around. Those insignificant memories mean much more because of who he was.

Two and a half years ago I hired Dexter to work at Transamerica. Dexter was the best hire we could have made. Throughout the years he contributed over and above what was expected of him. He brought new and innovative techniques that improved our efficiency and allowed us to perform new tasks. Whatever was asked of him, he approached it with a smile and willingness to help. Everyone loved him. Accuracy of his work product was known throughout the company. We were blessed to have him at Transamerica and he will never be forgotten.

Dexter was my math tutor for three years. His lessons still help me to this day. He taught me things no other teacher for years could teach me. He was a brillant man who not only helped me with math, but always cared about my schooling. He always asked how I was and occassionally helped me in other classes. I'll always remember him as a great friend and an amazing teacher. Please know I will never forget what he taught me. My thoughts are with the family during this hard time. Remember all the great times and all the love.

All of us at the insurance department loved Dexter. He was such a dedicated employee and so very creative. He loved the detail work of navigating our claims data base and finding new ways to present the information. I was sad to see him move away, but knew that he had much to offer his new employer. We mourn your loss.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I worked closely with Dexter at Transamerica - even though I was happy for him to be moving closer to his family, I was saddened to see him leave.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Dexter was such a brilliant guy. I tried to get him to come work in technology services with me several times. I lost two brothers to depression, please know that Dexter is not hurting any longer and that he is finally able to understand how amazing he is. My and my families prayers are with you.
