Dianna "Dianne" Perkins Eddings was born on January 12, 1948 to the union of Eddie E. and Hattie J. Bluitt Perkins in St. Louis, Missouri. Both parents and one brother, James, preceded her in death. She attended Charles Sumner High School, graduating in 1966. She went on to further her education at Forest Park Community College. Dianna worked for the State of Missouri with the Department of Health and Senior Services until her passing. Dianna confessed her life to Christ at the age of 8 under the leadership of Reverend I.C. Peay, Sr. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Over the years, she was active in the church as a junior usher, young adult usher (serving as president), children's choir, young adult choir, glee club and Voices of Galilee. Dianna Eddings departed this life on December 9, 2011. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: two sons, Joe Markis Eddings, IV and James Daniel Eddings; one sister, Dorothy Perkins; one brother, Nate Perkins; two daughters-in-law, Nikki (Joe) and Robin (James); three grandchildren, Ka'Andra Daniell (James), Ka'Rita Chaleur (Joe) and Markis Joe (Joe); three step-grandchildren, Sophia, Jermaine and Demetrious; one aunt, Velma Bluitt Hennings Peay "Auntie", one nieces, Kimme; one great nephew, Glen; one great niece, Da'Kodh; cousins, Sylvia, James, Linda, Jarvis; plus other family and friends.
