I always enjoyed and looked forward to our correspondence together through letters and cards. She was truly a devoted Christian; never wanting much, but giving of herself. She will be missed. I am hoping to share pictures your Mom and Dad took of you strapping young men as you were growing up. Your Mom had written notes on the back of most of them, and so did Grandpa Douglas. I filled in some information just by looking at the photos as a group. My gut feeling is that this is how your Mom and Dad were keeping Grandma and Grampa Douglas up-to-date on your latest accomplishments and goings-on.

Our dad, Art Pearson, worked for "our Uncle's" Rome and Hank, managing the Expar Paint store. As we got older, the memories are of the family picnics at the Douglas "Duck Ranch" and the Kufta cottage on Lake Michigan...all that wonderful Polish food...and laughter and talk and eat, talk, and swim... (and we had to wait an hour before swimming back then!) SO-O-O much fun!!! We loved your Mom too... God's peace and blessings to you her beloved sons...

My sister, Dolores and I were very close and always did everything together when we were children. We spent hours together playing with our dolls, playing games, or having fun adventures outside.
In our adult lives we lived far apart from each other but always enjoyed keeping in touch with letters and cards.
Dolores was a special sister to me and and I am fortunate to have so many wonderful memories of our times together. I have known her for 75 years and I will miss her.
